Below you will find Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all Champion Cleaning chemicals. A highly visible QR Code that links to this information, is located at every jobsite, preferably in the janitorial closet.

Employees should review the SDS:

Before first use of a chemical
When unsure about hazards or PPE
In the event of a spill, exposure, or emergency

Hazard Communication Program

Champion Cleaning maintains a written Hazard Communication Program in compliance with OSHA and Kentucky OSH standards.

Program Responsibilities

Management ensures SDS accuracy and availability
Supervisors ensure employees are trained and chemicals are labeled
Employees follow safe handling procedures and report concerns

Hazardous Chemical Inventory

Each site maintains only approved Champion Cleaning chemicals
Chemicals are stored in designated janitorial closets or approved areas
Inventories are reviewed when products change

Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Maintained digitally on Champion Cleaning’s SDS webpage
Accessible at all times via QR code
Updated when new chemicals are introduced

Employee Training

Employees receive:
Initial HazCom training before or at first assignment
Refresher training annually
Additional training when new chemicals or tasks are introduced

Non-Routine Tasks

Employees performing non-routine tasks (e.g., floor stripping, specialty disinfecting) are informed of:
Specific chemical hazards
Required PPE
Safe handling and disposal procedures

Contractors & Visitors

Contractors are informed of hazardous materials present
Visitors are restricted from chemical storage areas unless authorized
SDS access is provided upon request

Follow SDS First-Aid Instructions

Notify Your Supervisor

Seek Medical Attention if Needed

Call 911 if the Situation is Severe
